Default United States Warranty

Any thoughts on this particular company "West Coast Assurance Company" I bought it with the car knowing that i could cancel at any time and want a reassurance while driving it home 350 miles I would like to keep a warranty on for a while but want it to be good warranty.

I cant give you specific info on that one, but hopefully someone else can chime in. I do know that most recommend Fidelity Platinum, and that is who I have on my daily driver also. They paid out on a claim that I had made with no issues.

Never heard of them. I personally steer clear of the obscure players in this business. Bought a policy from one of them many years ago for a BMW. I think the name of it was Warranty Gold. Not unheard of at the time and a pretty good reputation but definitely not in the same league as Fidelity. One day out of nowhere they just shut down and filed Ch 11. No coverage and of course no refund of the premium paid.

I have a similar Thread going regarding Fidelity. Based on my Thread and other older ones I found, I ordered through Fidelity today. Gold plan, two years, $250 deductible for $2,038. 2006 C2S Cab with 39,000 miles. You can get a discount as I did by using a guy many on this forum use. Michael at Mossy Motors. Call or better yet text VIN and mileage to 1-504-352-8796. Super easy to deal with, big discount and my check went out today. Easy. RJ

He is in new Orleans. If he didn't do so, take 45% off the listed prices. That is what you pay, which is the best you will find for a quality company. I did a lot of looking around and some were 2 or 3 times as much. Good luck. RJ

Just bought a Platinum policy from him at a 45% discount. Picked Platinum over Gold since I wanted an exclusionary policy. Those adjusters are masters at coming up with reasons not to cover on the non-exclusionary plans. The clearly stated exclusions on the Platinum policy makes it much harder for them to be creative.
