Tried search, many said darker left side exhaust is normal. In addition I have a dirtier left side intake manifold and a damped area under the engine (coolant inlet?) Do I have a leak somewhere to cause additional fumes to escape into the engine bay to cause the uneven buildup ?

car is a 2096 C2S X51 with 45K miles.
