My '06 C2S is doing well (knock on wood) at nearly 185K on the clock.
Amazing. Excited when you roll 200k. We need to have a forum celebration.

Don't jinx me I'm hoping to make it there...
All I can do is drive it and keep up the maintenance...the rest is up to Hephaestus

I'm excited to go, especially after the 101 class last week. That was a great experience by itself.

Default 2011 997.2 C2 PDK

This is my daily driver in Detroit, MI. I bought her 2.5 years ago with 38k miles and I just rolled 100k last week!

I’ve spent about $9k on normal maintenance over that time. 2-3 sets of tires, 2 sets of brakes, 2 sets of plugs, 6 oil changes and a belt. I just encountered my first issue outside of the regular maintenance. My passenger mirror stopped working and is clicking continuously when I unlock the car. I’m thinking it’s just the motor, an easy, inexpensive fix. Anyone else with the same or similar mirror issue?

Default My 2009 C2 S Cab PDK with 107,000 on clock

Just bought it in Oregon and drove down to Colorado. Had most service records . On the PPI could not verify the drive belt replace or plugs or PDK clutch oil . But might have been done . Not all Indy's will show all the maintenance. I went ahead and did those to be safer driving home . What a machine just wow!!!

I know the tires are expensive but $9k for regular maintenance seems high for 2.5 years.

Not really. That’s over 60,000 miles of driving. Tires and balancing are $1,100 x 3. Plugs $500 x 2. $100 for oil changes x 6. Brakes $1,000 x 2, more if rotors are needed. Belt - unknown. But that adds up to $7k, and could easily be another $2k for labor/parts. These aren’t Honda’s. They cost money to keep on the road. Especially as a DD in Detroit.

I don't know how many here follow Hoovies Garage but Tyler Hoover had 248,000 miles on his 996 when it succumbed to oil starvation on the track.

This must be unfathomable to all the Rennlisters that can't sleep at night thinking their engine might die the next time they turn the key.
