We are having a super low snow year so far in Bend Oregon, so instead of skiing, I went on a 250 mile mini tour of Central Oregon. Perfect dry roads, a little gravel to keep you on your toes. Best of all, roads were empty, as in I only saw 4 cars until I came back towards Bend. I may have exceeded the speed limit here or there.....perhaps....
Nice car and pics....I really like what you did to the front grill. It looks like you got rid of the slats and put in black mesh....could you take close up pictures and post. I think I want to do the same. Also, what lip did you use. Everything looks so nice and clean.
Looks like great driving! You'll have to let me know when your next one is and I'll being my C4S out to play also. In Portland here, but I've been down to Bend and Madras before for a drive.
Crazy. it snowed last night, but I will try and take a close up of the grills ( Rennline ) today, The lip spoiler is GT3tek painted black with some texture added while being applied. I painted the roof as I have not seen a wrap that looks factory after a few months, I put ski racks on and the wrap starts to get worked around the mounting points and the sunroof. I also painted between the exhaust pipes black. Other mods are a X pipe, and Fister exhaust, Numeric shifter, I hope to put the DSC suspension controller on when I am back from Alaska in a few months. Here is a picture of my car in summer mode. Any Rennlister's that are coming thru Bend, PM me for a drive or driving routes, I am always out exploring the mountain and High desert back roads.
It looks great....I am going to do the same for my C4S. What are the wheel sizes and offsets...Your C4S is one of the most tastefully done. Here is mine which is pretty much stock but I have been thinking of changing some things and you have given me some direction. :-)
Hey Lowpue, The wheels are from HRE, I worked with David at Wheels Boutique in FLA, it is a stock HRE 19 sized for a 911 wide body, no spacers. Sorry I don't know the offset. I was close to getting a C4S the same color as yours until this one came up. You have a great color to put a few mods on. I just ordered a Misha Ducktail, should have it on in a few months. I am not entirely convinced that it will work with how I like the car to look.
