Looks good, this is the only mod I have done besides the grey side markers. I have 997.1 S tips on my 997.2 C2

Thank you! Do you have any photos of the grey side markers? I have clear side markers and it definitely looks better than the stock amber ones. Nice. Yeah I think my next mod will be painting the little strip of the rear bumper above the exhaust tips black like the GTS.

This is the look that I want for the rear end. It looks amazing.

No worries. Thank you. Seriously considering these.

Hi,
They are just the factory clear ones that I meant to say, they just look gray to me.

That's also funny, I bought the plastidip to do the bumper but haven't done it yet. Share some pics when you do it.

Sorry to hijack this thread, but are .1 and .2 exhaust tips definitely interchangeable?

Champion sells 997.1 S Tubi tips (http://www.championmotorsport.com/pr...-997s-tips.htm) and I’d like to put them on my .2 S, but only if they actually fit. They also sell .1 non-S tips, so I’m worried that not everything is totally compatible between .1/.2 and base/S exhausts. Is it simply the case that the base 997.1 has smaller diameter end tips and all other Carreras have larger ones?

I have 997.1S tips on my 997.2 C2, I am not sure if a 997.2S has different fitment than the 997.2 C2 though.

Base 997.1 has a different mounting diameter. All others (997.1S, base 997.2, 997.2S) share the same larger mounting diameter and are interchangeable...unless you have 997.1 with PSE

Now comes the question. I currently have a 997.2 base model.I picked these up via ebay. Except I was looking at how the stock ones are attached and will these fit? Do I just need an FVD adapter in order to mount these using the stock mounting bolt? Thanks!

Diameter is the same but i think the 997.1S tips sticks too far out on a base 997.2.. just my opinion.... i put my stock back and it was fine.. the 997.2S tips are shorter than the 997.1S tips?

Digging up this one in hopes someone might have 997.2 base tips they would like to sell.
