No, I don’t run a front plate....and in Kalifornia they need to catch me first!

Got one $65 ticket in Downtown LA / Art District. Ordered the licence plate bracket from Rennline the very same day. F Dat S. It looks good, getting use to it, no way I'm giving the city yet another excuse to squeeze my wallet.

Never. Pay the ticket if necessary. Anything is better then a front lic plate. The cost of P car ownership.

I live in DC and they require a front plate. After asking the same question and deciding that i didn't want my car towed, i did a ton of research. This is what i settled on and it was a perfect solution for me. Easy install, no holes in bumper and very secure fit, that doesn't touch the paint.

I get a ticket for not having a front plate probably once a quarter. Usually from a meter maid. Install my tow hook plate and get it signed off by a CHP officer and pay $10 for processing.

CHP office is near my office so pretty minimal hassle and I find it worth running with out a front plate

Except when you park in Santa Monica who runs parking enforcement up and down the streets 24/7. They ring you up for no license plate while you're inside grabbing a latte to go.

Same here with tow hook in frunk. Pulled over once but not issued ticket. I even paid to have the front bumper refinished as the prior owner had it drilled for front plate. I had a plate mounted for a couple months on the drilled holes and just couldn’t take it. Only regret is I didn’t buy GT3 front bumper with smiley instead of refinishing stock bumper.

I look at it like this. You're out to dinner one night and have a glass of wine. You get pulled over because of no plate. Worth the hassle? Not to me. I run the plate on the tow hook mount from rennline. After getting two parking tickets in front of my office, I gave up.

The 2011 Carrera I bought was from CA and the owner did not drill holes for the front plate. I thank him for that and luckily, no front plates in where i live.

Previous owners of my car did not attach a front plate. I won't be either.
