Default Are you CA guys putting on a front license plate?

Just bought my first Porsche and now realize there is no place to put on a front license plate. Do you guys add one or just take a chance and go without?

If you got one, which one? RJ

Never on Porsche. Paid 2 tickets so far, and well worth it.

I put one on the tow hook mount. Not worth the hassle of getting a ticket to me, but no drilling holes in the bumper required.

Cool. Doing it your way and not theirs. Nice.

I resisted for a long while but decided I didn't need to provide a "probable cause" reason for a pull over. I understand in California, the parking officials can give out tickets also.

Does anyone know of a solution like this from Carbonio?

https://www.carbonio.com/Ferrari_Cal...pm-fcal-na.htm

I bought it for my Cali. It installs in 5 secs, or it would if I didn't keep forgetting to take it out of my trunk, and install it.

Had no plate for a while but now using tow hook plate mount. Don't want to give them a reason to stop me.

No front plate on any car I have ever owned (many cars and 35 years) and never had a ticket for no plate.

I keep the tow hook mount in my frunk but I refuse to put it on until the blue lights are flashing. Im hopeful the cop agrees with me that vandalizing a 911 with a front plate is a far worse offense than none at all. We'll see.

That might be an excellent solution. Buy it, put it the frunk in the original packaging, and tell them when you get pulled over you got it yesterday and will put it on tomorrow. Very clever. RJ
