Automotive Techniques. I've known the owner for a long time and he runs an honest business and does good work.

Well the first estimate came in Porsche of Motor City for oil and filter change, brake fluid flush and fill, drive belt replacement, waterpump replacement (if faulty), PDK clutch fluit replacement, spark plug & coil replacement, parts $1343, labor $1831 and tax $81 grand total $3255. If water pump Ok deduct $1100. Seems like sticker shock to me but it is a P-car dealer.

Not sure why they are doing the coils or the pump as its a 997.2 , but hey ......I know its the, while we are in there......200 oil, 400 pdk, 300 brake fluid, 500 spark plugs, 300 drive belt. Is 1700, no water pump or coils, seems about right. Im just relating it to how much time it takes to diy. You have the same as me , surprised they dont want the front diff fluids done as well.

I will second Automotive Techniques. They talk me out of at least half the things I read about here(aftermarket motor mounts, transmission mount, etc) and I appreciate their honesty. They put in my new clutch last month.
I just made my pre-storage oil change appointment there for early December.

Not Southeast. But Tim Thatcher at Euro Autowerks in Rockford, Mi is the best in the business. Very thorough and reasonable. He has worked on both my 997 and 968. Helped me solve some 968 issues that the Dealer could not figure out with multiple attempts.
