Smile VIDEO: what happens to your life when you buy a 911 (997.2)

Decided to make a video about how insane we all are:

thank you for welcoming me (and my paranoia*) with open arms.

*I've owned TWO 997.2's this year. Someday I'll tell you that story.

This is great, thanks for sharing...I need to go make sure I put mine on the trickle charger now, I'd like my battery to last more than a year.

Keep em coming!!!

BTW, you have a tick that is unique and scary... it you notice, it as the every third tick.... kinda like a tick waltz.... the every third tick is something you are going to have to watch very closely.

Peace,

Great video. Spot on. Keep going.

On 997.1 (maybe also for 997.2) I can add some statements:
-We like to fill up gas with the nozzle turned 180 degrees.
-We have electric windows that are randomly, automatically not possible to close.
-PCM volume buttons that are sticky - just like racing tyres for extra grip.
-12 volt sockets that are always on so we have a reason to buy those cool trickle chargers.
-We like names like Gundo or Fister which makes no sense even to other non-P gear-heads.
-We scream ā€œNEVER CLOSE THE DOOR BY THE GLASSā€ to our kids, friends and spouses - Pretty much to anyone touching the door glass.
-We upgrade from 997.1 key fob because they open the frunk accidentally, to 997.2 key fobs only to realise the red fob-buttons are a maintenance-heavy item
-Three anti theft devices: Key to the left, Analogue e-brake plus the optional three pedals
-We like foam on our garage side walls.
-The most unusual options makes a unicorn which is crazy valuable.
-Our cars are really a she and the only mistresses our spouses will allow
-ā€œThe 997 and 996 are completely different carsā€
-ā€œIt has HYDRAULIC steeringā€

But I guess these quirks is why we love them so much.
