Default Warranty that has covered PDK failure

I am looking to get a warranty for my newly acquired 997.2 C2. Car has around 54k miles and my main concern is covering the PDK. Has anyone had to have the transmission replaced and has had the extended warranty pay up? If so, what company and what type of coverage plan. Thank you in advance!

I had a Costco warranty which covered it, but they no longer offer the warranty, go figure. But I think it’s equally important that - even if your car is out of warranty - you maintain in good standing with your Porsche dealer. they will Ben the ones talking to the warranty company. To remain in good standing just bring the car to your dealer at least once a year, even for some bogus service like rotating the tires.
