Default A/C stopped cooling

Hi
The gas of the a/c holds me for several months and disappears ...
In addition, there is also noise of air escape similar to "PSSSS"
It is clear to me that there can be a leak ..
Is there a "known" problem with this issue?

I'm not aware of a "known issue" with the A/C leaking on 997.1s.

I think you or your shop need to find the leak with the "standard" techniques.

Your statements are a bit puzzling though, if you hear a leak so distinctly I cannot imagine how that freon is lasting you several months. I can believe that a slow leak can keep you charged for months but you would likely not be able to hear that slow of a leak.

Leaks could be anywhere, but the more common culprits are:
Evaporator,
Condensers,
Compressor

Ideally you have the system recharged and the tech sniff's the culprits (for the evap you sniff the vents and condensation drain) with an electronic leak detector.

Yup. Ive also seen them flush and refill with a UV additive. Then they hit it with a UV light to see the leaks.

yep. Super easy to find the leak. I did all of this myself on my Honda Godysey....they sell the UV kits at most parts stores .

Thank you very much, definitely this test.
I'm afraid there will be a leak that will require disassembly of the Dashboard.
Just not that ..
