If you end up doing one, please let us know how much you gained. I am all for tuning forced induction cars due to the big gains you get from just a reflash, but how much can you gain on a naturally aspirated set up?

Dang this is an older thread!!!!
This is one of my last dyno runs.
the facts
05 C2S
Cargraphic mufflers
Cargraphic 200 cell X-pipe
Cargrapgic headers
Fabspeed dual comp intake
IPD Plenium & GT3 Throttle body
APR software flash
I have never been proud of the APR software. My question then was how much for a custom dyno tune?

Ditto. I’ve got the Accessport with PDK flash and have it on the 93 octane and Aggressive PDK maps. I can’t speak for the HP claim as I normally putt around and I don’t trust my butt dyno but the shift points from the PDK map is very much noticeable.
Additionally it’s nice that they have the ProTune program that certified Cobb dealers can use to create custom OTS maps on the dyno or an e-tune using data logs from the Accessport. I know BBi and Fabspeed participate in it.
Something else worth noting wrt Valvetronic exhausts, though they only stipulate IPE in their map notes as not being compatible as that’s the only Valvetronic exhaust they tested, but they told me the reason is because if the valve isn’t opened when doing a pull it can potentially cause enough back pressure to cause engine damage. However, if valves are set to stay permanently open, it wouldn’t be an issue. PSE is fine as it’s valves are a controlled by the ECU.

EVOMS is really good and has a 997.1 S tune. I’ve met those guys and they really know what they’re doing. Last I saw they still had the record for the fastest Porsche at the Texas Mile. Their EVOMSit software is stock and stage tunes, no custom ones though.
