Default 997.2 headlight (lens?)

Hi,

Did replaced one off the headlights, and now theres noticeable different between the new and old one. Don`t know the name, but is the part marked in the image below replaceable?
Thanks!
/Joachim

That’s called a “shroud” ( the chrome part ). I don’t believe those are found separately even aftermarket - i would be cautious of even removing it to be honest as the internals of the lens (glass part) have a lot of small fragile pieces for the leveling mechanism

Thanks! I was thinking off the lens/glass in the middle. The lens that is in front off the bulb.

That would probably be the whole projector assembly - weird that they’re different! Porsche def doesn’t sell those separately, you can reach out to lightwerkz to get aftermarket projectors but that’s a retrofit situation…

Sorry can’t be of more help

Definitely something that requires disassembly of the headlamp

If I were to go into my headlamps again I’d buy some new HID hardware from these guys.
