Default Parking

Hi! I am sitting in a airport terminal, after having parked my car on an empty-ish floor on an end cap at a weird angle. All to avoid dings.

I'm looking for best practices-- OR fun stories.

Its called taxi, Uber, or Lyft. I would never park my 911 in an airport garage. Since you parked at a weird angle, it's going to draw attention to it now as well. Good luck.

I hear that jet exhaust fumes cause premature IMS bearing failure.

I've taken my 911 on a about 3 or 4 airport runs. Covered partaking only. At DFW, spots are pretty wide in Express North. Biggest problem? Those stupid readers that read your parking stub are built for monster SUVs not a low rider 911.
Do I worry about it? Sure as heck. The upside? After a cruddy business trip, there is no better therapy than taking my 997.2S home. The long way, if possible. This works particularly well, if I can schedule an early morning flight out, and a late flight home.

Edit - if you're really a worry wart, then you can drive it to airport with spouse. Have spouse drive it home. Then have spouse pick you up at end of trip in your Porsche. Based on comments seen on RL, perhaps some would worry more about their so spouse driving versus a valet or playing door ding roulette.
