Question - why would you track your car when you know it has a problem?

Wow, that is an interesting sound. Sounds like a solenoid short circuiting or something.

That spurt almost sounds like overrun. Like the cylinder is getting fuel but not firing. I bet your coils are toast.

In my experience, when a German car has an intermittent misfire on a single cylinder it's a failed coil 9x out of 10.

I would change all the coils. While in there I'd also put in new plugs especially in the cylinder having the problem because if it's not firing it's getting doused with fuel. While each plug is out, I'd also do a compression test. In the .2 motors if there's bore scoring, it shows up in cylinders 1 and 4 (as opposed to the .1 cars where it shows up in 3 and 6). If the #4 bore is scored and you're losing compression, it can cause a misfire. One of the shops where I had one of my PPIs done told me if there aren't any misfires, then a compression test isn't necessary. I had them do it anyway and it was perfect.
