Test Drove a Viper

Not at all. Most people will have a lot more fun on a twisty back road in a Miata than in a Viper. Add to that that a Miata is a fraction of the cost in MSRP, gas, and maintenance.
As they say, it is more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow.
Sure, a Viper will beat its Ring time and look much cooler pulling up to a stoplight. But most people would rather a car that I can take sideways without doing triple digit speeds than a monster built for one purpose.
The market speaks and the Viper is dead. I still wouldn't kick one out of the proverbial bed (to continue with the fake boob analogy).

I have only good things to say about the dealership and am not affiliated.

By the way, you DO have a great racetrack practically in your backyard, HPR.
