Wheel spacers, offsets and aftermarket wheels

Wheel spacers, offsets and aftermarket wheels
Just a question about the offsets and use of wheel spacers on my 2009 Carrera S. OEM wheel offsets are stamped 57 front, 67 rear. Factory wheel spacers are 5mm all around. New wheels say offset of 52 rear/45 front and were installed with the factory 5mm spacers. The look is great and I do not rub however should there not be ANY wheel spacers with the new wheels/offsets? Or are the OEM 5mm ones ok?

If the wheels are the same width, your 67 with 5mm spacer was essentially a 62. The new wheel at a 52 is already 10mm further out without the spacer. IMO both the front at 42 and the rear at 52 are both too far out to look good, but people these days seem to like the poked out look so maybe that's what you're going for. In any case, no way you'll need the rear spacer with the new wheels and they were probably WB offsets you're mounting on a NB car - again, not a great fit visually for me.

Car was twitchy and they never looked right to me - had custom Forgelines made that are perfect in
