I haven't lowered my '09. I have 15mm spacers on the rear and 7mm on the front (bad pic).
I hadn't intended to lower mine, but I recently looked at and rode in Gopirates' '09 cab on new Eibachs and I have to say the ride wasn't noticeably worse and the look was much nicer--I believe he's running the same spacers as I am, too.
So, while I haven't done it, I intend to do it. I just have a treehouse and a truck restoration I have to do first.
I put Eibachs on my wife's who was adamant she did not want me to lower it and make it ride like all of my cars as she put it.
She busted me as I left the installation receipt sitting out the same day I had them installed, but she had to admit that she could not notice any difference in the ride quality and she liked it better.
I think the Eibachs are great and the car never scraps anywhere with the Eihbachs.

What car does she have ?
997.1 or .2 S or non-S ? PASM or no PASM ?
O BTW, I am not lowered.... didn't see the need to functionally....
Not lowered and no plans to lower. I think the car is the perfect height as it is. I also live in Dallas and the roads are not the best - and I'm being very charitable with that description.
I have spacers which were an option from the factory. Not aftermarket.

Count your blessings, you are not in Houston--then you would need a lift kit.
Such a beautiful color. I didn't realize it is a wrap until you mentioned it
It's not a wrap- it was a full repaint. Took it to the body shop in pieces and they took it apart even further (mirrors apart, sunroof out, etc). Guy is a perfectionist and the one doing the widebody kit and color change on the Cayenne.
Before
Current - color is Porsche Onyx White Pearl Effect Metallic
Not lowered. 1st car to have left stock height but car scrapes over tons of stuff in my area from driveway at home to drainage features in neighborhood and speed bumps at the grocery store.
Granted this is my first 911 out of six Porsches (four Boxsters in there) I just don't understand the need to lower a 997.1 with PASM for a visual reason. I can see why folks mess with it for performance or ride. Visually I definitely don't need to lower.
Not lowered and my aftermarket wheels act as spacers.
