Oil Pressure Change

Oil Pressure Change
Hi All,
My '05 997CS always showed about ~2.5 oil pressure at idle. I had the car out on Saturday and at idle the pressure is now showing ~3.8 on the gauge.
Never had any issues with this car, still drives the same, great.
Gauge still stays at 5 during driving.
Any thoughts or ideas?
Thanks!

I personally have no faith in the gauge other than maybe to follow trends in pressure. They can vary wildly from car to car, oil to oil and especially when the gauge starts going bad.

How old is the oil.. same weight as always.. rpm the same at idle.. same temperature on cold start? All of these can change oil pressure.
3.5 isn't high and if at load it's the same, I wouldn't worry.

Same for my '05 S unless it gets really hot (oil temp around 240-250) then I'll see a drop to 4 when driving and 2.5 at idle.
