JJ 88 Cab

I've got an 06 997.1 and the PCM won't hold any of the settings. It seems to default back to the original settings - the language goes back to German, the clock and date are wrong and are in the European format, and the radio presets all vanish. Thought perhaps it was due to a low battery but even with it fully charged the same thing keeps happening. Any idea what the issue is? Is the system toast?

There's a way to link each key to stored seat and PCM settings. My guess is that the PO did this with the key you're using so everytime you unlock the car it's recalling these linked settings. Does your other key do the same thing? Instructions should be in your manual.

That's really deep in the PCM printed guide. But yes you can set all kinds of things for each key to be set when that key is used.

Yes I have tried both keys and get the same result. I changed the settings again and then went back a few hours later and they all reverted back.
