I'm trying to get information how to remove the door armrest
cover? I'm wanting to send it off to get covered in Alcantara to match the rest of my interior. Can anyone post a link or send me in the right direction? I've looked on youtube, here, etc. and can't find detailed info.

You have to remove the door panel. No way around it. I removed mine too install macassar wood ones. Plenty of instructions out there. You may want to pick up about 4 trim snaps as you may break one or two. Plenty out there on snaps.

Yup, once you have the panel off you can figure out the opening mechanism from the back side to get it removed.

Go on YouTube. I found complete video on how to remove the door panel screw by screw. I found two videos, one on how to replace the speaker which was very good on how to take the door panel off and one on how to replace the door axle which replaces the mechanism that pulls the door handle back in with full tension that had a broken the spring which returned it. Good luck. BTW it's not a hard job, just follow the video and do what it does.
