Default What's the story with this GTS

Does anyone know anything about this car?

https://www.smithbuickgmc.com/used-M...AB2A90BS720834

Strange to have a relatively rare car at a Buick dealership.
Weird brown under the arm rests--flood damage? Has a clean carfax but . . .

Guessing old guy traded it in on a more comfortable and cheaper Buick. Looks like a good buy and it's going to sell pretty quick now that you posted in here with all of us vampires in the forums. The red interior is a bit strong bit livable and one could get black pieces to break it up some. The armrest thing you see is where the paint flaked off, not water damage. Can be touched up easy enough.

It has the Sport Chrono wart, but only the "Sport" button. Why no "Sport Plus"?

Because it's a manual.

Manual Tranny

How much would it cost to "de-red" the interior?

1.) Black Floor Mats
2.) New Steering wheel with air bag
3.) New Shifter with boot

Thanks, PDK on the brain.

Is that red a bright red? In some pics, it's a bit more muted than others. I had an SL55 that was silver with a "Berry" interior. Really liked the combo.

I don't mind the red interior, now that you post this ad, it's probably going to be gone soon. $63K is low for today's market.

I'm guessing you could get it for even less. Most domestic car dealerships want no part of selling Porsches. It does not generate old people in the showroom coming to see Buicks. 63K is a darn good price, one of the lowests I've seen for a GTS. A Porsche dealer would charge 70K for it.

Just those three things? $1800-2000 if you DIY (airbag being most of that)

Total de-red $18-20k.

A solid, tasteful de-red IMO would be:
1) Black upper dash
2) black carpet everywhere (i mean all of it)
3) black rear and center console
4) Black upper door and door blades

Fun to imagine these things. Too bad there isn't a cached 997 configurator somewhere.

At 60k or lower out the door that's a solid car!

Looks like it's not the car for me--if I was closer I would test drive. the car had quite a few mods. See attached photos.

I think the red could be minimized greatly with black mats and wheel. Would look good!

Gotta check the carfax and get a PPI for the dme. Wish it had the dynamic headlights, kinda a must for the .2 to get the updated look.

*edit*

Just saw your post. Tracked and modded greatly... deal breaker
