Weird AC Quirk

When I stomp on the gas in my 997.2, the AC cuts back. This is documented in the owner's manual. Gotta get the max amount of HP to the wheels without wasting any on the compressor. What I find quirky is the AC output stays reduced even well after I lift off the throttle and I resume driving like a normal person. I have to manually lower the temperature setting by one degree to make the AC blower kick back up again to where it was initially.

The a/c engineers aren't coupe fans. They want you to buy a cab, turn off a/c, and hammer it without worries.
