Default Cayman roof rack fit on 996 Turbo?

A deal show up for a Porsche roof rack with ski adaptor part# 987-801-105-00 which was originally installed on a Cayman.... Can it fit our TT ? I ask the seller to measure the length between the attachment and it looks really close???? Should I take a chance and visit the seller tomorrow morning? $150.00 is really cheap

I do not think the roof rack will fit. Take the trip anyway. $150 is a huge deal and I could be wrong.

if you're referring to ski attachment, yes it will fit. p.s. part number is not ski attachment, is the roof rack itself.

you will find the rail system of the rook rack is attached with 2 allen bolts per mount. If you deem, you could potentially re-tap new threads on the railing and move the mounts accordingly. That said, you will find the hardware that attaches to the roof itself, maybe angle'd for a 987 roof vs. a 996 roof. The hardware that attaches to the roof, is what connects the black mounts you see too the roof.... that's were my concern would be rather then the length's of the railing system, from my personal experience in owning 3 roof racks. 2 996/997's 1 for cayenne 958.

However for $150 i would totally do the drive if local.
