Default New video - 718 vs 996 Turbo

Hey folks,

I've linked the video at the moment where the host talks specifically about the 996 Turbo (7 mins 10 seconds). Turn Closed Captions on! (unless you understand Italian) It's a fair review

Fantastico! Nice find. Enjoyed this vid very much.

This is something I have always thought as well. 996 Turbo comes from a time when turbochargers were not just used to get better power to emissions ratio...the turbochargers were used to put the cars on a whole other level.

Not sure how you found that one, but thanks for sharing. I guess the 996TT is loved the world over. Ciao!

I still think the Turbo looks modern even in the company of the 718. But that ride height though is a dead giveaway the Turbo is from another era. Still looks great in the video. Nice find, once I located the subtitle menu haha!

The man is my hero. He says he'd like 18" if he could have them. I wish they would listen to him. **** this ****ing trend about putting goofy huge wheels on all cars these days.

Have the ride height requirements of those countries requiring more height than RoW Porsche's changed since the 996 Turbo was manufactured? All U.S. Porsche's at the time the 996 Turbo was produced required (thank the DOT) higher ride height than RoW Porsche's.
