David,
As you know I have one of your systems and I experience the same "drone" that Evan has with his Fabspeed. I don't mind it, but since you say your systems are sans-resonance, did I install it wrong?

Evan, for $495 for the set, it's got to be the best exhaust upgrade bang for the buck, if you can take the volume...certainly interesting....not to mention the weight savings of losing the mufflers....

Fabspeed and/or Europipe users:
Did you actually sensed the power increase when you installed your exhausts or has it been more a melodic question: The sound .
Have someone felt less turbo lag due to the reduced back preassure ?

Sorry, been busy. No the europipe is similar to the stock, with what I assume has resonator chambers the actually "tune" the note. I could be wrong not having opened one. The tubular designs are in fact, that, tubes from cat to tailpipe. These will resonate like blowing air over a bottle. This can "resonate" or create a frequency that vibrates windows, floorboards and your skull.
These are the Helmholtz resonators on the 01-early 02 exhausts. The X50 has larger holes giving a deeper note. Much effort goes in developing the correct size to give a good note and reduce the vibrations transmitted to the cockpit.

Here is a couple of examples of the superior service provided by Europipe.
I ordered my exhaust from Stef @ Europipe and paid the extra cash for 2 day UPS delivery. As it turned out, the exhaust was not delivered in 2 days and UPS were trying to claim it was not their fault. Well... Stef would have no part of this. He went to work on UPS and sent me a cheque for U$ 385. Further, he sent me a Dutch congradulations card for the birth of my new son, born on November 11 2003, which I only mentioned in passing, sent some Europipe decals and a German brocure on the GT3-RS.
I was always impressed with the service of Europipe and am amazed at thier personal attention to details. (Not to mention by belief that they make the worlds best exhaust for the 996TT)
