Default Long shot - picture request

So after the drive down to the dentist in the snow this morning in the Toe-reg, the TT is locked away with a battery tender keeping it company.

The lack of ability to drive it leads to bench racing season - and Google isn't too helpful for what I'm after. I can photoshop but it's just not the same.

Ok drifting slowly to the point.

I have a Forest green car with stock wheels. I have an odd hankering for gold or bronze ones. And even odder I kinda think that those BBS mesh wheels might just do the trick. What can I say - I'm an 80s child.

Before I drop a bundle on something that might either horrify me or cause me to fall in love, I wondered if anyone else had either done it or snapped it.

Hence the picture request.

Green 996. Gold or bronze wheels. Extra credit for the BBS. Prefer real rather than Photoshopped.

Anyone?

Green is a very rare color on these cars so chances of a picture are slim but without a picture I can tell you that color combo and face design is a good choice.

Bright green like signal green or viper green work just great with gold wheels, dark green colors not so much.

Man I've posted this photo twice and the browser keeps crashing - this is my last try. (I mean it!)

I grabbed a 996 off the internet, added some BBS RS wheels, and then dropped it like an inch or two.

Hope it goes through this time. Is this kind of what you're looking for?

Ok photoshop made my point worthless. I'm a believer now! Maybe I've seen gold on dark green on the wrong cars, lol.

I did platinum centers back in 97, rather than gold. Far more subtle. It might be what you're looking for.

i get the "80's child" thing but ( to me..) gold centers are more of a '77 black trans am "breaker breaker 1/9 good buddy, whats yer 20, c'mon back?" look.

but to each their own.

I'd go more JPS Lotus than Burt Reynolds.
A JPS Esprit is still on my bucket list. Clearly I like giving $ to mechanics...

But that said, what I actually meant was more solid color than centers, and on reflection rather than the mesh, this is more in line with what I'm actually thinking:

when it works, it works. i think i was thrown by the contrast of the green vs gold. but all that matters is if you like it. the first pic does the color accent justice, imo. not so much the green x gold faux fuchs look lol. the smoky and the bandit look wins.

Not many samples indeed. I've also been pondering the same thing on my forest green. Almost think solid gold might fair a little better than the usual gold center/polished lip as an alternative to playing it safe and keeping it classy with silver.

Not green but I can kinda envision what my car looks like with this. Thoughts?

Btw, what size were you planning on going with?
