I've had both, and then some. Kline is a cleaner more civilized sound, the EP sounded like a dump truck on cold startup in the Hosp parking garage, again jmo and on a 997 platform. Having said that, my current setup is a custom fvd modified oem exhaust, which flows great and only about 20% louder than stock, what do I know?
Another advantage, at least in Europe, the Kline and fvd are tuv approved, if that's important.

I went with EBWerks... sounds better than any other exhaust I've heard, like a GT3 or cup car especially at high rpm. Kline or Unobtanium were my alternates.

In-car recordings that accurately represent what the exhaust sounds like are difficult to capture; I can't really get a good idea how your exhaust actually sounds from inside your car. I've tried to get an accurate in-car recording of what my Europipe sounds like but haven't been able to get an accurate track.

Agreed, loud as **** on cold start, (neighbors) really wish I could turn it down sometimes but man, nothing like it when you're on the power.

Copy the opinion and the 997 Turbo.

Another opinion: 996 Turbo with the EP II Loud sounds fantastic on cold start.

Thanks Berra! Here are videos of both quiet and loud for a comparison - we also have something positioned in between these two...

Loud

Quiet

I am so glad most of my neighbors are into cars... One has a 997 C2S with muffler deletes, another has a heavily modded Subaru STi.. Im not even the loudest Porsche on my street

Sorry for the off topic, but thank you both for supporting us.
8 weeks ago i took a high level personal from ( http://www.ricardo.com ) - they built Mclaren P1 motor among several cool other toys, and he genuinely loved the note our exhaust note and was marveled what we did with a turbo exhaust and what we have done with the GT3 exhaust as well. Nothing makes us happier then our customers telling us how glad they're with the note / gt3 cup resemblance.

Okay carry on.

No other exhaust even comes close to the sound this thing makes. I need to make some videos with GoPro if it ever stops raining.. High quality, awesome price, zero issues on install, came with every piece needed.. Beautiful exhaust, almost a shame to cover it up.. Not to mention you were a pleasure to deal with and have been very helpful talking aero stuff after the fact and just sharing knowledge in general.

I highly highly highly recommend EBWerks and Enrique. Thank YOU.

Speedtech exhausts come in MANY different flavors. Which one did you have and what did you not like about it?

Have you experienced the Europipe II Loud from inside a 996 Turbo?

Just out of interest, are you more concerned with how the exhaust sounds to those outside the car, or to those inside the car?
