I've searched and can't find a definitive answer. Trying to determine whether the 245/40-18 and 315/30-18 combo will work on a bone stock Turbo S with twist wheels. Some people, say it rubs a lot, and others say not at all. Based on the tire specs, it looks to be a great setup on paper, with the front slightly taller than the rear, so I'm trying to figure out why it isn't popular. Any input from someone who has experience with these sizes would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
edit: Apparently my search wasn't that great since there's a thread 10 down with a similar question. Regardless, I'd love some rear world experience with this setup.

The recommended rim width for the 315 is 10.5-11.5 so it would seem to be a perfect fit while the 245 recommended width is 8-9 thereby fitting within range but on the pinched side. Also might need to get the GT2 rear fender liner bracket and reshape the rear liner to avoid rubbing. Plus I'm guessing 7mm & 15mm spacers would be desirable for fitment to help eliminate rubbing.
