As long as you don't race.
Cab all the way,, in fact all my sports cars are open tops and every man should have a cab. Especially a turbo.
Had a coupe for two months,, claustophobic it was. Got rid of it fast.
Also the grey interior ,, you wil see every dirt ,, worn cracks and will become tiring very fast. Had it on the coupe and on a another cabrio.
I strongly recommend black interior,, especially on a silver car.
My 2 cents...
Thanks for the info guys! It's crazy, the dealer ended up just shipping it via there guy. $2100...picked it up Tues am and just told me it might be here tomorrow!
Anything I should check out on the engine when he gets here before I drive it? Also, any other turbo owners use theirs as a DD?
I use mine as a DD but I have a short commute to work... 5.9 miles.
Next year the office is moving about 30 miles away so I'm considering buying a beater or not.

Oops,,, had I known you had bought the car,, I would have left my 2 cents opinion out in the garage.
I recommend changing all the fluids,, check the trannie and the engine mount.
As for the rest you will discover as driving starts. For the condition and the mileage car shouldn't have any major problems.
Congrats on the good looking car.

Thanks..should arrive tomorrow! I agree regarding the grey interior....current vehicle has it and you are spot on....shows everything! This is Arctic Silver w/ black interior....I decided to take my time and find the right color combo.

I agree - the top seals perfect and is no problem in cold weather. You can always put a hard top on and have the best of both worlds. My opinion only - I had an 01 TT coupe and now I have an 04 TT cab - the convertible makes it 100x more enjoyable.
yes
it depends whether you would track your tt.
I enjoy the cab very much espy in Autumn / / Winter/ Spring (about 20C to 10C in HK).
In some place, only limited no. of cabs have been imported since 2004.
I have a 2004TT Cab and I love it. I was set on a convertible as don't track and I wanted to drive around with my kids with the top down. It was the best decision. There is minimal wind noise but she is very tight in heavy rain or snow. No regrets and if something were to happen to this I would be searching for another Cab.
