Default Best workshop manual/guide for 996TT Newbie

All,
I am newcomer to 996TT ownership (2001 Forest Metallic Green). I also own a 1969 912 that I have done some basic repairs to, but my shop skills are limited. I would love to know if there is a good book for 996TT that has step by step guides. I looked on Amazon, etc. and the popular ones there (Porsche 911 Carrera (Type 996) Service Manual; 101 Projects for Your Porsche 911, 996 and 997 1998-2008) have reviews that say they are useless for the TT since the engine is different. I am not looking to do major repairs, but cleaning radiators, changing oil/fluids, spark plugs, etc.

Thanks in advance. And, yes, I did search this site and others but could not find this addressed; I apologize in advance if I missed the info already posted.

Have a great day

the essential 996 has some good stuff in it. There is also the factory manual that you can find online.

There are quite a few posts here with the answers to items you listed but many times the search feature doesn't pick them up. I have found that you can get better results by just using Google with the subject and then it directs to the subject right on here. Go figure. Welcome to the brotherhood, they are great cars to way the least.

at the top of this forum there is a section on DIY where members have made diys and posted them there. These are very helpful, and should cover the items requested.

I printed off the 2099 page manual and bound it into 4 books 2 years ago.
I'm happy to say they are now covered in highlighter and grease!
Great resource.
