Does anyone know how to fix squeaks from sport seats? I have sport seats with the seat backs matching the exterior color(speed yellow). The squeaks sounds very "plasticky" and it sounds like the source of the squeaks are the plastic seat backs. Every time I accelerate/deceleate it makes the squeaks and also when I lean(push) back and forth on the seat back. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Mine does the same thing (Yellow back also), not as often as it sounds like yours does, but more often now with 19's and Coilovers....

My sport seats make a squeek whenever I shift around in the seat. Sounds like it is coming from underneath the seats. I have checked all the mounting bolts for tightness and have not been able to find anything. Anybody else have this???

Not all sport seats make noise........mine are absolutely silent and so is the rest of the car. This is one aspect of the 996 that I have noted as a great improvement.

I ordered sport seats with mine and have the painted yellow back as well. Hopefully it is not something wrong with the design of the seats.

My sport seats aren't painted and don't make any noise either.

I certainly traced a rattling noise from the passenger Sports seat as being the seat belt buckle hitting the hard plastic back. Move the seat forward slightly and cured !!

Mine had more than a rattle like gaxor. I just adjusted the recline until it went away. No problems since then...
