thanks! I did come up with a minor modification that I passed on to Joe. I had it up to 80 on the freeway today and the car feels more planted, nicely complimenting the extra down force from my 4" eRams in the back.

I got the aero lip delivered today. Do you need to remove the front bumper cover to replace it? I dont feel any hardware under there with my fingers! I probably need to put it up on my lift to make things easier. Dont want to pull the cover off if not necessary. did that twice when I replaced the front fans and is a PITA by yourself.

Just need to remove the two screws at the front of the wheel wells and then pull it out of the clips in the front. Its a very easy and quick job.

Put the new one out in the sun while you gather your 1 tool and remove the old splitter. That way it will help loosen it up a bit for the install.

I mounted my aero lip yesterday. I was having a hard time putting the end where the screw is over the wheel well. I had a thin tin tab laying around and slipped it between the lip and the wheel well and then the end slipped right on without any prying or hard pushing.

Leaving it sit in the hot sun helps too.

Quote: Just installed my Toth 2-piece Splitter yesterday - I was afraid it would bottom out at the end of the driveway, but that was not an issue. He did design it for easy removal of the horizontal piece for trailering and potential scraping. I'm glad to have his product available now!
I got this splitter from you and love it. I just saw this post and now I'm wondering about the easy removal part.

For those wanting the OEM lip, Amazon has them for $46 + $25 shipping and handling, which beats the heck out of the Warehouse33 price. I ordered one just to see if they're legit. And to use when taking the car for service... before I saw Dave's post about easy removal ...

. Cool Mark! Yeah unscrew the two screws at the wheels, and the whole front splitter pops off in 30 seconds. Had to do this for the open trailers I had been using...but RennKit just bought me a new enclosed aluminum trailer with long loading ramps, so the splitter can stay on all the time now!
