I am guessing you talk to Sambo.....

Kevin seems to go out of his way for his customers and even non customers. But if you go with Cobb, I would recommend Sambo from reading how in tune he is with the 996tt community (no pun intended). Most here have had wonderful experiences with both.

Who do you talk to at Cobb if there is a problem, a veteran book of knowledge, or, one of several who field calls on every euro manufacturers' full line?

^ i was going to chime in on sambo also.. re cobb since he probably sells a tune a day for them... while it's fairly obvious that it wouldn't be a mistake to go the umw route given the depth of experience and the fact that kevin here is the owner with a rep beyond reproach..

i have also been dealing with sambo on a face to face basis for many years.. this guy is unparalleled in CS and his day to day working knowledge of this platform and even porsche in general is top shelf. his kid hauler is a cayenne and he always has a turbo or something of his own for a "play" car. he doesn't talk about it he IS about it.

while i've also been able owing to proximity to deal with him face to face ( much to his continual chagrin i'm sure ) he has ALWAYS been there for me. even on a sunday holiday. he's unreal. i went to pick up a part from him last time and he helped me sort a radio fuse intermittent issue on his own dime and time while his kid was hanging off his leg and running circles.

a price cannot be placed upon a level of value added CS such as he provides. though that said, again, either route would serve one well, i am sure.

My 01 EVOMS stage three seemed sluggish with lag until I changed the waste gate actuators.

No boost builds at low revs. The old units were not operating correctly.
