I'm curious about this too. I think those are the only differences. I was surprised to find out (I believe) the side skirts are the same part numbers on Aero cars as non.

Sweet! My car was also built with Sport Technos. I am going to be getting some more aggressive H&R spacers for mine so I can pop them on from time to time. You don't see Sport Technos too often..I like 'em!!

According to suncoast, rear lid is lighter! Might be because of not having the hydraulics, or something else. I'm sure the aero kit does provide more downforce though.

Thanks man! Before I bought this car, whenever I would see a 996 with them they would always get my attention. They're my favorite wheel, I lucked out when this car came along.

Thanks for the heads up! When I first got it I liked having it up when driving around. But then did some reading on here awhile back, about how its hard on it to leave it up all the time, I just let the wing do its own thing now when driving. Thankfully it was replaced once already several years ago before the CPO warranty ran out. Hopefully that fix lasts awhile yet...

Thats a good idea, wasn't sure how hard a re-bleed would be on this. I've read about his kit that looks pretty sweet for sure. Do the new 911's use electric rams now, so they don't have to deal with a leak when it fails? I'm guessing so.

I find my Aerokit rear lid to be quite heavy. Letting it drop to shut it from more than just a few inches sounds like I'm slamming it. Are the hydraulic ones like that?
