Besides being better for the engine, staying in 1st gear driving up deck levels in a parking garage offers the added benefit of allowing me to listen to the great sounds my EPII Loud makes when the engine RPM is above ~3000.

I downshift into first sometimes while coming to a stop. Normally i find myself in it driving around a parking lot... pretty much it's like any other manual car, and I treat it as such.

First gear is also required for most of the tire smoking 360s. Unless of course you have a really large space for 2nd gear.
