for me it would be easier to just respray a manual car than go thru all the drama of converting one.

I seem to remember an Excellence article on a 964 conversion from a tiptronic to manual. Different car and different transmission (I think). But read like a very involved project.

I agree with most of the previous posters. Find the interior / manual combo you want then wrap or paint the outside. (Of course, someone might say swap the interior)

This a car in AZ? If so, I casually know the owner. Amazingly, another friend down there has its near twin (interiors are the different brown/tan/whatever), both guys having bought them out of FL last year.
