Yet another new owner....
Since everyone is usually most interested in the pics....I put them first. For more about the car, scroll doooooooown.
Yup…I’ve finally joined the legion of dudes who had them on their walls and now have one in their garage. I had (still have actually thanks to my parent’s basement cleanout) the "Trapper Keeper" full of the pullout ads from the 80’s and damn near every road test of the 911, 944, 928 and 959. It’s a problem and I can only thank my wife for her patience with me.
Sold my 944 turbo (AWESOME CAR) and my e30 M3 (equally awesome but in a different way) and bought a 996 turbo.
It’s all stock and has led a somewhat pampered life. Needs a brake fluid flush, coolant flush (and a preventative condenser/rad cleanout) an e-ram kit, two front tires and a clutch slave but that’s about it. I’m looking forward to handling these few jobs as I do my own work (bar the tires). It has 49k miles on it and has been serviced by Brumos and a sharp indy by the original owner. I’m the third owner with the second having put only 3k miles on it in 3 years.
I’m not a huge fan of the graphite, the carbon or the PCM but that gives an indication of how much I do like the white. I prefer the off-white Biarritz to the bright white of the Carrara because it reminds me of my Alpine White M3.
I’ll have more pictures once it gets a little nicer here in NY but here are some shots…..warts and all. (Yes, I’ll address them at some point too.) I got it into the garage with an hour or two to spare.
I’ve done mountains of research on all of the 911’s on- and offline and would like to thank the collective wisdom of the Rennlist community for their contribution to my search and to my conviction in knowing when to pull the trigger and (even more importantly) when to walk.

Thanks!
I can't believe how lucky I got with the snow. I hemmed and hawed over "drive it back" or "have it shipped" and in the end had it shipped only to have to meet the truck a mile from my house because he couldn't maneuver the tight turns in my neighborhood.
A few hours later and I would have had the same salty slop up under the car anyway.

Welcome. I sold my Alpine white e30 M3 last spring to fund my 911 TT purchase. Totally different cars but the 911s power is addicting. It's also a hell of a lot easier to enjoy the power. Also in NY maybe I'll see you around.

Congrats Dave on your new car. More and more I see it, the TTs look fantastic in White.
So the previous owner put the car up on ramps?
If you don't mind keeping this thread alive...post some pics in this thread too.
