Thanks for all the kind words fellas.
The seller had a half height BendPak lift. Made looking under the car much easier. He also had four aluminum pads turned to fit the jack points on the car and passed them along. Great seller and great guy.
I'll post some pics in the other thread tomorrow.

I also had an Alpine White & tan 89 M3 and based on what people want for em now, should have rebuilt the car after getting hit. Took the insurance $, bought back and parted it...
You'll miss the feel and floating around sideways in your M3 but the power of these is worth it.
What did you guys get for your M3's?

Greetings Dave,
Welcome to the 996TT experience. Your car looks great and I've no doubt you will enjoy it tremendously. I've found it is pretty easy to work on other than a bit crowded back in the engine compartment

Love the white. Just removed all carbon parts for painted silver.
Just did a HD Bilstein Shocks - to my 2001. A must have. Got rid of the floaty feeling at high speeds. May need new clutch accumulator if peddle is heavy, big difference. Changed transmission oil and front diff with SWEPCO 201 Multi-Purpose Gear Lube. these are simple but noticeable.

Nice car. Join us on a Sunday. We hit the roads pretty hard. We are a spirited bunch who actually drive our cars and not just look at them. It is a trip for you, but will be worth it for sure. Also, I would like to make a trip to your area. Are you off the hutch.

I'm leaning toward the BBi clutch slave as I'm not a big fan of the low pedal pressure. Looking for things to make the car feel a little more analog.
Front diff and trans oil are def on the list with the coolant and brake fluid.

You can get good money out of the carbon parts fast, on ebay.
Just replaced steering with used padded oem wheel http://www.suncoastparts.com/product/0000444002XX.html. Sold old carbon wheel for $650. Look on ebay, their is one for $400, look for Part number 993..... Sold rest of carbon as a set for $1000. And sold the carbon shifter for $400.

Here's mine. My wife has asked me to find a project car to show my girls how mechanical things work so mulling over about 40 different cars in my head that will give some of the feel back without having to approach ludicrous speed.
