As an owner of 996T x50, I would like to hope our cars go for that kind of price. In reality, average price is around $45k. However well optioned, (x50, sport seats, full leather, some carbon fiber, desirable interior color, etc.), tasteful upgrades, original window sticker, full continues mainintance records, less common 996 exterior color, and less millage car could go for $55k but will not be an easy sell. If I were to sell my 996t x50 today, I would price it between $45-48k.
thanks

A car like you describe (minus tasteful upgrades) wouldn't last a day at $55k.

Sounds realistic at $45k.

I looked at the cars.com today, the prices are all over the place. My previous assessment may not be right on the spot. There are many 996tt with very high asking prices (60k range) but how do we know if those will ever sell for that price. There are some really good deals too , decent looking once for 38k range but there is no free lunch right?. In a nut shell I think may be the average is around 45-50 range for a x50 and well optioned. I think the prices look better for the sellers than I remember few years ago. If I were to buy one today I will go for a high millage once with proof of maintenance from a private party for the lower-end $ price. For 60k and above may be a 997T?

Thanks

I appreciate all of this info on current pricing as I think I'm going to sell our 04' Seal/Black Cab, X50, 6MT, ~39k miles sometime this spring.
