just finished a clutch accumulator... IMO, 996TT clutch with bad/'pumped-out' accumulator is heavier then a GT2 clutch system

This accumulator on this 996 Turbo failed and replaced it with our upgrade kit.

That I have no doubt but gt2 pressure plate is not as strong as the SRE plate. With a factory gt2 or turbo plate it's not going to be to horrible

i will get it but not before my nearly new slave goes ( again ha ). it isn't worth the dough if it's just another 140$ accumulator since its a 30 min r&r. the slave is a WHOLE 'nother story lol. then i'll get that bbi slave delete rather than one more slave/accumulator combo. it's a very functional well thought out unit, i gotta say.

Porsche 996 Turbo Gets BBi Autosport
Clutch Slave Cylinder Conversion Upgrade Kit

This Black Porsche 996 Turbo recently fell victim to the infamous slave cylinder failure and it was towed back to our shop to replace the defective unit with our BBi 996/997 Turbo GT2 Style Slave Cylinder Conversion Kit.

Taking a look inside reveals a well kept black interior with 84,230 miles on the odometer. Black on black is definitely a desirable color combination.

Installation performed in our service department and typically requires 5 hours to complete

For the life of me I can't see why if you have the motor out you would use this part versus doing the OEM gt2 slave conversion. IMO it's the best way to do it. Not to mention there's recently been a few posts of these installed and users having issues.

We just finally restocked these and they feature an improved design internally to make the bleeding process a little bit easier. Please email sales@bbiautosport.com to order or visit our website:
