I agree 100% it's a poor design and not to nitpick but your car being damaged while loading onto a flatbed isn't really relevant. It is different issue.

The "glue" Porsche used is almost certainly Heinkel (Loctite) 680 cylindrical bonding compound.
It's a good choice although it degrades above 250-ish Fahrenheit. That is how Heinkel specifies removal: heat parts over 250F.

yea, if the coolant lines hadn’t been glued in with bubble gum, there would be no need to tow. Lowered car and small bed rollback leads to lots of angle for the car to go up. Regardless that’s what happened, and it was more expensive to fix. Had nothing to do with the tow hook, it was being pulled from the tow hook.
