i appreciate the help and offer. jakarta? has all the info but... sure.. take a look if you like. it's "too late' for any real difference as i as trying last Thursday to coordinate the order date, ETA, and others around some limited holiday schedule(s) so it's pretty moot at this point but perhaps ask "jakarta"?. he's aware of this and "bob" originally took the order from me VERY early in the AM of last thursday, i believe it was.... he's always been helpful and knowledgeable so I'm not really trying to out anyone or cause any issue let alone seek any redress! the damage/inconvenienece has i said, has already been done.

but thanks again.

order was? pm'd

wanted to post a note that pelican has gone way above and beyond in an attempt to mitigate my displeasure as well as get me my parts as quickly as is HUMANLY possible, as apparently that's all this was. human error at time of order. in addition to a MAJOR discount being offered, i've been assured that my parts will soon arrive sans shipping charges and THAT is a "stand up" company and exemplary customer service.

i will continue to purchase from you guys, as needed! and will chalk this one up to, chit happens.

thanks again.

Mine are off to Jared for powdercoating! I'm sure he'll post pics up once he gets to work on them.

Can't wait to see those on your car. You're going to want to take your wheels off to clean them every time you wash the car.

as for me, i rarely even wash my car! but i may take to rinsing off the calipers! wheels are a PITA to keep clean!! hate it lol..i will say grey is a lot better durty than brushed alum! that sucked! and sometimes even looks dirtier still!

After much deliberation, I'm going with neon green like the 3 pots earlier in the thread. I was going to go with yellow, but decided to get a little wild. I'm usually very conservative with the visual aspects of my cars, so this will be a departure!

My car is Polar Silver so really any bright color will work.

Keeping wheels and calipers clean is a losing battle, yet I still try valiantly time and time again.

agreed! but i really dont bother. i rinse and dry and the interior has some maguires. thats about it. its a driver

the green on jimmy's came out amazing. but lt depends of body color and wheels etc ( and in my case, again, it's two tone gt2rs like ..( stfu rightlane lol ) so i've pursued the more stealthily color matched understated look. its gonna be badd a** and still be "understated". like me

+1, the green should be a really cool contrast with silver. I'm usually very conservative also. I'm having a steering wheel upholstered soon for the car and I went back and forth on adding a red stripe to the steering wheel for weeks.

Yea, I think it will be a good contrast. My wheels are turbo twists refinished in seal gray with a dark primer, so it should offer a really nice contrast.

I'm going to be getting my wheel leather re-upholstered soon and I'll probably be the same way, lol
