Long time poster. Been a huge p-car fan since I was a little one. Well, a dream finally came true.....and picked up a 996TT last week. Although it's not my dream 993TT, i can't keep up with their prices anymore

I've been looking for cars for the last few months, a variety of things (vipers, vettes, another classic) and the wife finally smacked me and told me to go find a turbo. After a few months searching and not finding one I like I came across this car and got a good deal.

2001 with 57K miles
2nd owner, this one bought it CPO'd in 2005
Pss10's and eibach sways
new DV's
just had major 60K service (new brakes, spark plugs, etc)

One issue that's popped up since ownership is the ABS/PSM warning, but i've been researching the issues and will work on getting it sorted (he had replaced hte MAF, but doesn't look like that solved it, next is the wheel speed sensor as I hear they crimp and cut on lowered cars).

Overall I'm totally happy!

Hard not to be happy when you have one like that . . .

My guess is your son's glee is awful similar to your own. KH

Beautiful! Are the carbon fiber interior pieces OEM are aftermarket? I'm trying to find a good place to pick a few pieces up.

OEM, the ones on top of the dash are pretty warped. Was curious how most address that.

be advised that keeping your wing artificially in the raised position while parked, will hasten the arrival of the wing issues you will one day invariably face.

they do not like that, and will rebel.

Hey Soon just noticed you're in WC, I'm in Moraga. Maybe a Canyon/Pinehurst run in the future? A couple of my buddies also have 996tts

Absolutely. Do you do either Blackhawk or treasure island c&c?

Also, who do you use for a local Indy shop?
