Any of you turbo guys replace your stock paper filter with the BMC??? The part number for the turbo and GT3 BMC filter is the same. Just curious if any of you have done it and what were your impressions??? ie Throttle response ect. Thanks.

Turbo and GT3 do use the same airbox...
I have the K&N but heard the BMC might be a bit better...End of the day, it is only an air filter and so really does not make that much of a difference on the dyno...

 

Did you notice any better throttle reponse since the car breathes better???

I think honestly air filters are more of a hype than anything - the better breathing etc... is more in the mond than anything...
I do it on all my cars either way and I cant answer your question because my airfilter, short shifter bulbs and some other things were sitting in my house before I got the car and were installed at 77 miles (I got it with 34 I think...Someone is Zuffenhausen or the dealership must have enjoyed it huh??)

 

I noticed a difference in sound but that's about it really.
