Default New GT3 on the floor in Bakersfield Ca

I dont know if you all were looking for one and I
know the GT3 are selling by appt only. But
I was in Bakersfield Ca yesterday with a problem
with my 993TT (at the dealer)and there on the floor was a
silver on black GT3. I asked the salesman who
it was for and he said its the only GT3 in california
for sale the sticker was 108 I think dont hold me
to that. (no PCCB brakes?) just thought incase anyone was on
the lookout I would like to tip off a rennlister!
I am not affiliated with Porsche just fixated on getting
mine fixed!

by design has a rep for asking prices. their locale helps em get more than cars are worth in 99% of the other markets for them.

I realize the GT3 is a great car but,
It ain't got no power compared to a "standard" TT!
I fail to see the allure of a GT3!
Give me a turbo, or give me death!

I was actually first on the list for this very car. It's at Family Porsche.

The dealer called me two weeks ago to see if I was still interested. Apparently, no one else on the list was interested either...

The allure is that a stock GT3 will waste a stock TT on the track any day of the week. It is even quicker in acceleration and top speed as well. Oh and its also $20K less... True it cannot be modded as easily as the TT nor will it ever see the Peak HP #'s the TT can produce, but off the showroom floor it is an all around better car for racing/sport.

It is faster on the track, but it's top speed (190 mph) is not faster than the TT, and it's acceleration (0-60 4.0, 12.3 in the 1/4 mi.) is not faster than the TT either. The GT3 is a better track car because of it's weight, and suspension tuning. The TT would probably be a better street car (PSM, & AWD) though it is 400 pounds heavier, it has far more torque. Depends on what you like...to track or as an everyday driver.
