Driveshaft flex disc / guibo / giubo
In the middle of doing some work and spotted a nice healthy crack in mine.
Porsche does NOT sell it separately. Did some digging around and found some old threads mentioning some places to potentially source it and others trying to use a bmw part(which could work in a pinch but is thicker than the stock one).
It seems its a bit easier to get these days but can still pose a challenge if you want to try and source it locally.
koperformance is no longer in business from what I know(but their website still works).
The part number being tossed around is 102539005 .
You can find a number of these on ebay. That number didnt help in my local search(it may for you)
If you want a made in Germany part, get the Febi made one.
Febi Part number: 34744
That was the number that ultimately worked for me locally.
This isnt really news but more of a public service announcement/information for when someone searches.
Should be able to source for ~$85.

I am bumping this thread up because during a routine inspection I discovered my guibo was disintegrating. Replacing it was pretty easy.
My car is an 2001 with only 68k miles so I figure everyone else in that ballpark should consider having their's checked.

Funny you mentioned the updated cross member. That went in during the guibo install.
