As you can see from the pictures I had a rude awakening at 2:30am the other morning. A driver under the influence of something plowed through my yard causing damage to my cars and property. He also went over my gas meter and burst a major line, they had to evacuate half of my neighborhood why the leak was fixed. He did all this damage and fled the scene, I was under the assumption it was the gas main that exploded causing the destruction. He turned himself in about an hour later and was arrested for the hit/run in addition to having drugs on him. I'm glad that no one got hurt considering the circumstances.
The guy does have Nationwide insurance, I am working with them on the cars and my condo association is taking care of the property damage. They're going to total my MB because they cannot find the parts for it and the damage to my Porsche looks to be minor. I always applied the parking brake on the MB or the damage to the TT would have most likely been much worse. The impact was to the bumper support on the driver side, and it was projected about 2-3' into the front of garage which is not made out of a strong material. The car starts fine and runs like it has in the past.
The insurance adjuster is okay with me having it thoroughly checked out at the dealership. I'm looking for some feedback on what you guys would ask them to look over other than the obvious areas impacted. Any input would be very much appreciated! Thanks.

Sorry for the loss. Glad that you are safe... It could have been a lot worse.
I would have the dealership or the Porsche certified bodyshop remove both bumper covers.
The rear is going to have the left bumper shock "cycled" but more important, the rear bumper heat shield most likely got pushed forward. It's an expensive replacement part. If there was impact to your exhaust tip, you might have some exhaust damage.
The front inspection needs to be focused on your radiators/ A/C condensor and brackets....
That covers the gambit of stinks. At least the MB is totaled and you wont have to deal with repairs/ diminished value etc. With the 996tt you will have to find a reputable shop and hope for the best.
really sucks!
I'd echo exactly what Kevin has already said, take the 911 to Porsche or certified bodyshop and have the car thoroughly inspected and documented. Make sure to look at less obvious things, example: the headlights appear ok, but could have a small crack that leads to moisture damage in the future...etc etc...don't let some drunk idiot cost you now, or in the future..
Thanks for all the responses! The totaled car was towed away during the week which allowed me to reverse the car out of the impacted wall. There does not look to be a single scratch or dent on the front of the car and can only find a few scuffs on the driver side bumper support. The car was in N w/ the parking brake applied when this happened, it might have not lurched like it did if the car was in gear but I would suspect being in gear would not have been good for the trans. I still plan to get the car thoroughly looked over once I can get it out of my garage which is currently stuck shut. The insurance adjuster for the property finally came by yesterday, I hope things will start getting repaired this upcoming week.
Overall, things could have ended much worse! I appreciate all the input from you guys.
Is your house sitting at an intersection? Looks like he was hauling and never made the turn. I bet that was a scary sound. Glad know one was seriously hurt. Quite the story, wait till his insurance sees the condo, Benz, and Porsche I'm surprised he even had insurance.
