Default ? for people who ordered HRE's

I ordered my HRE's 5 weeks ago, they were schedualed to finish production today (were already delayed once), so I call today to confirm and am told they are waiting on part (inner somthing can't remember) and that part won't be there untill next Tue. So next Tue will be exactly 6 weeks, and they wheels won't even be on their way to me . I know HRE takes awhile and I was willing to wait the 3-5 weeks to get them, but 6-7....seems a bit rediculous to me...especially since I have a show on the 27th that I need the wheels for... Because of this HRE is doing somwhat of the right thing and are going to ship them next day or somthing to get them here, at no extra charge, but still....
How long did everyone elses wheels take??
Regards,
Evan
PS-All this happened and I am an HRE DEALER!!!!! Can't imagine if I were just a customer...

Dude that's nothin, I waited 4 months! Aren't they custom made? Your wheels aren' t the only wheels they are working on. Relax.

What choice do you have but to wait... Does you no good to cancel them. So I have to agree with Oak... Chill

Easy boy, that's nothing, i've waited 6 months for wheels from japan. Would you rather have them do it right in 8 weeks or have something go wrong and get them in 6? You are getting a quality custom wheel, expect delays, they are ALL over this industry. Be glad you aren't some of those guys that ordered Iforged wheels and were told 3-4 and still nothing after 5-6 months

Can't wait to see the wheels on your car btw, what size did you get?

Hey guys, sorry just kinda had to vent. Its not the fact that I am waiting 6-7 weeks, its that I was told they would be done in 3, 4 at most, and HRE has screwed up 2 things so far, which has delayed them. I was promised by them I would have them by my show...as long as they keep their word all will be good

HRE is a quality company and I have had nothing but great customer service. If there is a delay with your wheels, it's genuine. I'm sure they feel bad about it but be glad they are keeping you informed. Have you read the iforged fiasco?

Just talked to them actually, and the part still isn't in This wouldn't be bad except I have a show this weekend, and have to be on the road 6AM friday morning!!!!!!! Therefor I need the wheels Thur. morning....
This could get ugly...
