GT3 Intermediate shaft on GT1 Engine
Has anyone done this? Worth the upgrade? Thanks in advance.

It's about $2K worth of parts. They are actually 959 parts. I considered it during my last rebuild but my engine builder told me to skip it and this is on a track motor. Your call though..

talking about the gt3/959 parts, need to figure out the scavenge pump drive. Does the RSR have the drive boss already?

do you have the RSR IMS part # handy?
would it be 9971059318A ?

Swap over the chain sprockets and it all should work the same correct? The concern with the stock one is that the bolts could back out.

no the end opposite the oil pump lacks the drive piece the run the scavenge pump. FWIW, comes with new sprockets installed

99310527552 is the drive piece that connects the pump, the gt3/959 shaft doesn't have the provision to accept it out of the box

9971059318C ordered up, has the drive for scavenge pump on it, also ordered up the matching '959' number chain sprockets-will see how the compare to stock

991Cup IMS arrived, has the threaded end for the drive piece we need.. P.M. always makes the nicest parts
